The lush greens and stunning views made it a perfect retreat for our family. The Whale Creek Marina was also a hit with the kids - they loved getting up close to the boats and experiencing the excitement of the marina. The location of Desert Sand Motel was ideal, with both attractions just a short drive away. It was a great way to spend quality time together as a family.

My wife says that adding a small playground area for children would be a wonderful addition to Desert Sand Motel.

The suite was absolutely stunning and went beyond my wildest expectations! I'm already counting down the days until my next visit in September. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to my friends and family, although I'll secretly hope there are still rooms available when I return! The amount of space in the suite was amazing, and the bed was both huge and surprisingly comfy. The location was super convenient, with ample parking available. The staff made check-in and check-out a breeze, and their helpfulness was unmatched. The cleaning staff deserves a special shoutout for their cheerful demeanor. The only minor downsides were the pillows being a tad too hard for my liking and the hotel not being listed on certain websites where I could have redeemed my points. Nevertheless, those small issues were overshadowed by the overall perfection of my stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to everyone I know.

I enjoyed that the room was perfectly clean with brand new beds and new bathroom and kitchens. Exceptionally nice and immensely pleasant staff, gave a lot of information.

The rooms at Desert Sand Motel were such a relief from the heat with their air conditioning! The flat-screen TV was a great touch for some downtime, and the coffee machine in the room was just what I needed to start my day. The bathrooms were clean, and it was nice to have a bathtub and complimentary toiletries. Whether you need a room with one or two beds, they've got you covered. Plus, having an iron/ironing board and a fan in the room was super convenient.

Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the fan in the room. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I know others might still appreciate it.

Courteous staff and really make it a good place to stay. Its location is fantastic & particularly good, so close to all the best restaurants as well as beach.

The Desert Sand Motel in Avalon was a great choice for my solo trip! The rooms were cozy and had a welcoming feel. I loved how each room was air-conditioned, which made the hot desert weather more bearable. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I prefer showers over bathtubs, so that was the only thing I didn't love about the bathroom. But hey, that's just me!

The position of the hotel was great, directly across the street from the ocean. The staff were very pleasant and exceptionally pleasant, it was a bonus.

My room was reasonably spacious and quiet thanks to the immensely pleasant staff. The hotel has marvellous and incredible location next to beach. One could dine at restaurants such as Borghi's by the Bay 10 minutes away. This property met expectations in every way, 100% recommend.

So posh, darling! They have a restaurant onsite and two pools - an indoor one to show off my bikini bod, and an outdoor one for the peasants. Stunning natural beauty in the area too!

Oh how I savored the 2-device limit for free WiFi in public areas. So generous of them to keep me disconnected from the world.

The property had a restaurant. but who needs that when you can explore the natural beauty of Corson's Inlet State Park and Stone Harbor Beach? And let's not forget the luxury of free local calls and a 2-device limit for WiFi, wow!

Oh, how I missed the pleasure of doing laundry in their fabulous laundry facilities and chatting with the multilingual staff.

The property has a restaurant and two pools, indoor and outdoor. For nature lovers, there are lovely parks and beaches nearby. Free local calls, yay! There's also free WiFi, but only for two devices, so pick wisely.

Oh, and did I mention the WiFi limit? Who needs unlimited internet access anyways?

I loved that we could use the facilities before and after checking in. The suite was jaw-dropping - it exceeded all my expectations! And the rate per night was a steal! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I'm already planning my return in September. I would recommend this place to everyone, but then I might not get a room next time because it's always booked! I'm in love with this place!

Everything met needs, I would definitely come back. Thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights stay. The staff were both immensely pleasant and amazingly nice.
